I had been to the launch of Golden Rice a few months ago, back then it was one of the few exceptionally good North Indian cuisine restaurants in Marathalli area serving delicious signature preparations in an affordable manner. This time they are hosting a limited period food festival to celebrate the history of Kebabs and Roti, a combination that has been savoured for a long time now and I was all eager to check it out!
It has been quite some time that I posted a blog about my dining experience, well that doesn’t mean I was out of the scene, just that I was caught up with random trips outside the city and work took a major toll on me! I still managed to visit some new places with great concepts that I shall be talking about them in my subsequent blogs but this post here is about Tijouri, which remains as the most authentic address for tastes from North and South Frontier regions.

So there are few places in Namma Bengaluru that flash my mind when it comes to describing the ideal nightspot for partying with DJs who are hosting parties, famous international and local bands coming down to play, various live performances and so on. Blue Frog is one among them, and with a location that is right at the centre of the city, it has managed to do extremely well even in the times of turmoil (read as highway alcohol ban and the dull period when church street was getting renovated) But then, Blue Frog being a casual lounge does offer an amazing array of food and cocktail options to choose from and this post here will give you all a quick glimpse of what a meal for two on a quiet Sunday afternoon looked like for me. Plus, they’ve got a new menu as well so let’s jump in straight to check out what it looks like.

The food festival is on till the 20th of May so hurry up and devour yourself in these bowled beauties that are sure to take you for a quick spin across the Asian streets.

A lot of you must have heard of Sriracha, the popular spicy sauce that’s typically served in Vietnamese and Thai food, but in this post, I am going to talk about Sriracha that’s the newest Pan-Asian restaurant housed in the uber premium property of UB City. I was here a month back for a nice round of Saturday lunch where we got to experience the new menu curated by Chef Vikas Seth who also takes lead at Sanchez, my all-time favourite Mexican restaurant in Namma Bengaluru. A laid-back afternoon it was and we were glad to catch up with Chef Vikas himself who started the proceedings with the signature Sriracha’s Som Tam which we all loved, it is a green papaya salad that’s prepared on your table. But this is not it, read on to know more about our entire journey across all the courses of our meal.

We have many restaurants in Namma Bengaluru, some of them are functional, some are considered to be posh and some restaurants claim to use homemade ingredients, am sure whatever I mentioned up here doesn’t follow any sequence and probably sounds meaningless but what I want to convey is that the list of variety available here is literally endless! Maia is a restaurant that follows a very interesting concept, as the name itself suggests this restaurant is all about giving back to the mothers, the most important person in our life. It is not a typical restaurant where you walk in, order food and then scoot after paying the bill, there is a lot more that they have to offer! So read on to know more about this wonderful venture 🙂
I’ve been working in an IT company for over 3 years now and one primary source of entertainment for us folks are the traditionally hosted Team outings which in most cases end up in a restaurant! Adding more salt to the wound is when you’re office is in typical localities, i.e around Whitefield or Marathahalli. So after trying out almost all the eateries in these localities in the form of various types of visits – via office, on my own and blog coverage, there was a period of lul. Not many interesting options were left, and then when I heard the news that Dhaba is opening in Marathahalli, I was like okay this is something that I need to check out as my previous two visits to their Indiranagar outlet were so so good. This 30-year-old brand from Delhi has been expanding gradually and this is their 9th outlet in India, and second in Bangalore.
Smoke House Deli is having a special menu offering extremely delicious dishes with their own signature twists that will surely be a treat to your taste buds. So if you are among the many folks who love grills then you gotta experience the Camp Grill special menu at Smoke House Deli! The best way to describe the food festival would be – the sizzle of meat on the grill, there’s nothing like the lust of the perfect meat and who better to urge you to start an affair of the Meatilicious kind than Bangalore’s quintessential all-day café and delicatessen – Smoke House Deli.
