Why step out when you can get some really top class North Indian fare delivered right at your doorsteps! @garammasalablr is one of the many successful cloud kitchen ventures that was conceptualised during the lockdown and has been delivering quality food consistently for quite some time now.
We had a fun MasterClass event hosted by Chef @mody_fying_everyday and Chef Prakash at The Madras Pavilion, @itcgrandchola .. it was a super interactive session, lot of talks about our past dining experiences.. and we also got to see how each and every ingredients used in cooking at this hotel goes a long way in ensuring that the food you get is at its best and as fresh as it can get!
While we all have to resume travelling after a point of time, there's always that element of doubt in our minds about how it is going to be like given the current scenario! I finally kept aside the hesitation and went ahead with doing what I like, exploring places and food! As you know we recently visited @itcgrandchola for an experiential stay and with plenty of safety protocols that are in place as part of their #weassure program, you can be assured of having a safe outing. Here's a glimpse of how the check-in process looked like.. we are greeted with the traditional Namaste, then all our bags got sanitized, this was followed by a temperature check via a high-tech machine! Since we did the pre-checkin, I did not have to go through the hassle of submitting my ID or giving out meal preferences at the reception, all of this gets captured well in advance and that's a great way to save time and ensure that you have a contactless check-in experience .. #responsibleluxury indeed!
..another favourite order whenever we're in Mangalore - the super tasty vegetable cutlet (and the chutney that comes along with it πŸ˜‹) from Pabbas or Ideal Cafe!
and we begin the year with this nice and cheesy spiced paneer pizza from @pizzahut_india πŸ˜‹ I like such beginnings, cheers to living the controlled but guilt-free life ✌🏼 (now why did I mention 'controlled'? Well, you'll know it soon 😝)
Hang in there.. stay strong and stay healthy! Wishing you all an awesome year ahead, Happy New Year 2021 πŸŽ‰
So, if you ask me, these are the other set of essentials apart from Ghee Roast when you are in Mangalore.. what do you see? Chicken Sukka, Chicken Urval and Anjal (Seer Fish) Pulimunchi πŸ˜‹
