Sriracha Robata and Contemporary Pan Asian Dining – Indiranagar

Grubitizer is back again after a brief hiatus. A lot has happened in the last 2-3 months, a mix of both positive and negative things, but then let’s save that story for some other day. Right now we’re going to talk about your favourite Pan Asian restaurant in the city, Sriracha! I’m sure a lot of you folks will be familiar with this brand, the iconic Pan Asian restaurant in the uber posh property, UB City! So when I heard that they are opening their second outlet in Indiranagar I was happier because it was now closer to my home. Feb 2019 is when this new place opened its doors to excite the gourmands, what sets this particular outlet different from the other one is the presence of two distinctive experiences, the Live Robatayaki and the Cambodian Khmer cuisine. We were here on a Saturday afternoon to check out the offering and the place was packed, like literally. Read on to know more about our dining experience.

FBAI Drinks Bar Crawl – Bangalore Edition

We’re all familiar with concepts like food walk, pub crawl and so on, and it has been long since I was part of any such event. I guess the last one was Food Walk at UB City where we covered close to 6 restaurants in two days. FBAI Drinks Pub Crawl was my first Pub crawl event (yes am serious 😀 ) thanks to Sameer and Salloni – founders of FBAI who along with Roshan from Aspri Spirits and Mitali from Morning Fresh for pulling this one out so well! The location was set to Indiranagar’s 12th Main area and it is one of those streets in Bangalore where you can probably find pubs at every 10 meters. The idea was simple – cover three pubs, grab a unique drink at each one of them, top it up with a magic potion that’ll cure your hangover, socialise with fellow bloggers and yeah, eat some great food on the go!

Three Dots & a Dash, Indiranagar

Three Dots & a Dash is probably that one place in Bangalore which takes you to the tropical setting of Hawaii the moment you step in. The name Three Dots & a Dash comes from a drink which was made by one of the greatest cocktail creators ‘Don the Beachcomber, and it symbolizes the letter ‘V’ in Morse Code. V stands for victory which by default means celebration and the drink here was created as a tribute to the American soldiers who fought beside him during World War 2. I was here as part of their anniversary celebrations along with other bloggers which also marked the launch of their new cocktail and food menu.

The one thing that strikes your mind when you hear the word Rayalseema is super spicy food. So I was all prepared to spit fire when I got an invite to check out this humble looking place located in Indiranagar called Rayalseema Ruchulu (RR), which translates to Taste of Rayalseema. The brand which was set up in 2004 brings out the best in traditional style cooking of the famous Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. I was here for lunch on a weekday along with a couple of friends, and this post here talks about my dining experience.

Onesta- Honest food Delightful memories

Yes, this is what we understood during our visit to Onesta- Honest food and delightful memories.

It is one of a kind experience as you are seated rooftop and served with a whole range of gourmet pizzas, tastefully made appetizers, lip smacking deserts and a great variety of non alcoholic beverages. Their claims of preparing pizza and appetizer on order seemed to be true as the pizzas took close to 30 minutes to reach our tables, they were served pipping hot and the ingredients looked fresh.
